Third quarter 2009 results
At 07.00 GMT (08.00 CET and 03.00 EDT) on Thursday 29 October, 2009 Royal Dutch Shell plc released its third quarter results and third quarter interim dividend announcement for 2009.
Royal Dutch Shell takes Final Investment Decision on Gorgon LNG project, Australia
The Board of Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) has taken the Final Investment Decision on the Gorgon liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, signalling the start of initial construction on one of the world's largest natural gas developments. Chevron will operate the project, with a 50% stake, with participants Shell and ExxonMobil each holding 25% shares.
Second quarter 2009 results
Royal Dutch Shell's second quarter 2009 earnings, on a current cost of supplies (CCS) basis, were $2.3 billion compared to $7.9 billion a year ago. Basic CCS earnings per share decreased by 70% versus the same quarter a year ago.
